museawayA very kind person has gifted this community a paid account for the next 12 months. I'm exploring what features that might unlock for us. It seems like we will have extended search ability, so maybe an old-fashioned comment meme is in our future!
To that person, thank you so much for your generosity. Dreamwidth relies on donations just like AO3 in order to keep the servers running and provide an ad-free space where we can talk freely, so your gift benefits not only us but all of the site's users.
As a side note: ficwip is a volunteer operation run by one person with the help of some friends on discord, and we have no expenses to cover! If you would like to gift something to the community, we could coordinate something like a giveaway for Scrivener licenses, or you could donate time and organize an event for 2026. I am still making up the schedule for discord and dreamwidth.
