🎵 Base a fanwork around your top song of the year
🎵 Generate a random number from 1-100 and base a fanwork around the corresponding song from your Top Songs playlist for the year
If you aren't a Spotify user, determine your top song(s) for the year and use those as your starting point! This is a casual collection without formal sign-ups, and everyone is welcome to play.

Nope. Be free.
🎵 Does it have to be a fic?
No, any and all fanworks are welcome. "But the collection nam--" I just typed that when I created the collection, since this is AO3 and fics are primarily posted here. Please do whatever you want and don't let the collection title stand in your way! "Why don't you change it?" I like the rhythm.
🎵 If I wrote a song-inspired fic earlier in the year, then listened to the song so many times it made my Top Songs, can I retroactively add the fic to the collection?
Yes, I think you should.
🎵 What if multiple songs from a playlist for a fic I wrote earlier in the year ended up on my Top Songs? Can I add that fic?
Go for it.
