A bit of context: After Lara and Doppelganger finish up their second bathing session, the two fall asleep, only for Yulia to go through her usual night terrors. So Lara does the following:

Wrapping her arms around her abdomen from the behind, as if she were a spoon stacked on another, she carefully strokes her blood-crimson hair and hums the aforementioned swallow's song; even as it takes minutes for Yulia to calm down, the long notes and the swinging intonation eventually makes her give a content smile and a returning embrace. Good thing Lara can find ways to let the redhead know just how deserving she is of admiration and love.

The two just enjoy their closeness as they drift off into a mostly calm sleep.

Aww! This is really sweet. I like how you describe the song Lara sings to Yulia. "Long notes and swinging intonation" is great imagery. I love how clear it is that they care about each other, even from this little excerpt. Just the two of them enjoying their closeness together, so cute!

funnily enough, every mention of the word spoon (eight so far) in this fic come from this chapter. So, here's a different part.

Yuri took a lettuce leaf and layered it with a spoonful of ssamjang and a piece of the pork. Folding the leaf, she presented it to Kitty with her chopsticks. Jiwon and Soon Ja’s eyes widened at the gesture, knowing the significance. Kitty accepted it at face value, thinking it was just Yuri being friendly.

Ah, I love me a cooking experience (I'm not sure if it's that, though). Nonetheless, I just love the use of cooking as a means of impressing someone!

It is, in a sense! They help with cooking a dish that's part of the dinner. That's what happens before this scene. Kitty and Yuri help make tofu stew, which they sit down to eat before Kitty's aunt and cousin come to the table with the pork bulgogi.

In Korean culture, wrapping a lettuce leaf like this is often shown as an expression of your feelings or affection towards someone, so it's a subtle tell that Yuri likes Kitty, but Kitty, growing up in America, doesn't know this, so she passes it off.
