Your breath hitches. She smiles, in the most oddly genuine gentleness you can think of, a smile curving and tucking into the corners of your mouth. And those scars on the bridge of her nose and her left eye… have they always been with her? Nonetheless, you ache upon seeing them — you carved them into her, after all.

You crave to hug her back. To feel her arms again, to feel the warm touch you've been desperately craving ever since your alchemical creation.

Second person POV is always so immediate and intimate, and you use it to great effect here. My heart aches for her.

Ozai looks up from the report he was reading, but truth to be told, he doesn’t remember even one word from what he was reading.

Ursa enters his office and she smiles at him. And it’s one of the brightest smiles he’s ever seen on her face. She runs towards him and hugs him with such joy that he’s never expected her to feel.

“I passed the last exam, Ozai! I’ve graduated!”
