Okay, I swear this will be the last time I'll share my WIP for the upcoming Level Up! event.

It's okay, that brunette angel tells you one night, you can always try again. The pattering of rain against the cabin's window has intensified since you woke up, but you're still feeling tense. The post-Grand Hunt world feels like an abyss at several times, a depthless one. You still find comfort in her touch, despite her equally scarred form. Even as the inside of your head keeps on replaying the same past horrors over and over and over, you try to forge on in lying on her lap and not wilt in front of the angel's eyes.

"S-Swallow—"

No, she cuts you off, but strokes your hair regardless. Try again.

I don't know how you do it, but you write entire stories in just one paragraph!

And rain against a window is one of my favorite background noises in fics :)
